This home was everything that is advertised and perfect for our family's weekend getaway! Our host was very responsive and accommodating. I don't think I've ever rented a place that was more beautifully or more completely appointed. And WOW! That kitchen, with 2 full-sized refrigerators (plus another in the laundry room), 3 ovens, a microwave, and an ice maker...it was perfect for a large group. And there is something for everyone...pool, hot tub, pickle ball court & equipment, pool table, shuffleboard table, and a TV in every room! The goats, chickens & donkeys on the neighboring property were a big hit with our youngest family members! The beautiful hill country view down to and beyond the Blanco River was the icing on the cake. This home exceeded my expectations and the whole family loved it. We hope to come back again next year.

Our family of 11 stayed at Bendigo Ranch over Thanksgiving 2022. For the past many years we have stayed at Shiloh and Mike's properties. As our family grew we moved to have larger houses and now we moved to the largest house they have. They offer excellent properties to accommodate families. All properties are well-appointed, comfortable, and with wonderful amenities.
Bendigo Ranch is terrific. The living areas are spacious and comfortable. Bedrooms with attached baths are wonderful. The kitchen is large and one where you can definitely cook a complete Thanksgiving dinner. 11 people had one or two devices and the WiFi never failed. I can think of nothing the house needed. It was a pleasure to stay there.. Shiloh is great to work with. Over the years a few times we had simple issues we had to call about, and Mike is immediately there to solve the problem. I recommend these properties to you without reservation.

A PERFECT second stay at this wonderful property. It is beautifully appointed and had a 100% makeover in the last few years. The house is meticulously clean, every bathroom is newly remodeled, sheets and bedspreads are luxurious and new, kitchen is fully stocked with any cooking utensils one might need, the views from the back deck is stupendous and the opportunity to walk along or just sit quietly and savor a large stretch of the river uninterrupted by tons of other people- as if it is your very own- is a one of a kind experience ...I can't think of a single thing that could be improved upon......

This house is a pure GEM!!! We did our 14th annual friendsgiving here this year and we could not stop commenting on how amazing and awesome this house was. It was perfect for our bigger group of 14. Couples had their own rooms AND own bathrooms. Each room was a great size and so nice and clean. Game room upstairs was great entertainment. Pool and hot tub were great outdoor activities. The best was the private river access!! You did have to take a short drive down to the river, but it was more than worth it! Private and beautiful scenery. There were 3 fridges and 3 ovens which was great for a big group. Ice machine was a huge plus! Kitchen is stocked with all kitchen needs for cooking. There is a wonderful front patio with comfy chairs to enjoy the quiet and relaxing scenery. My group is already talking about rebooking for next year. Totally worth every penny!

The house and property are absolutely gorgeous! The house is nicer than the pictures show. We had a full house and never felt crowded. All the bedrooms had plenty of privacy. The master bedroom is beautiful! The only suggestion I have is there really needs to be ceiling fans on the front porch and the deck, and maybe upgrading the ac system upstairs. But I would not let that keep me from staying here again.

My family had an amazing stay at Bendigo Ranch! The home and the property are beautiful. The kitchen and dining space were perfect for large family dinners. The kiddos played down by the water and in the large yard. Everything was immaculately clean and beautifully designed. Shiloh was so responsive and great to work with. We made great memories as a family and will definitely be back!

Bendigo Ranch is truly like nowhere we've ever stayed. They have a beautiful pool and hot tub that overlook the rolling hills. The sunsets really are some of the most amazing ones we've ever experienced. One of our favorite nights was just cooking out on the huge grill and getting to enjoy listening to music. I also really appreciated that they took extra measures to ensure the pool was safe. The whole pool has a gate that wraps all around. There are even locks on the upstairs screened in balconies to ensure little ones can't climb down the steps and get on the pool deck without an adult helping them. Every morning we set out on the property and went exploring. The land has 3 large lakes that flow down into the next one which leads you right down to the riverfront. We loved getting out and going on walks and just taking it all in.

Over the last 10 years, our family has stayed at multiple vacation homes in Wimberley, and Bendigo Ranch has to be one of our absolute favorites for many reasons. We recently spent a long weekend there with 2 other families, (7 adults and 10 children, 7 years and under) and had the BEST time! Bendigo Ranch had everything we could have needed! The bedrooms are not only spread out all over the house, but extremely spacious and private. Every single bedroom has it's own attached bathroom and they are all luxurious! Though no one loses on which bedroom you get, I will say getting to relax in the steam shower in the primary bathroom is a huge plus! Our kids loved getting to sleep in the bunk room! If you're traveling with little ones, the closet in the primary bedroom was the perfect size for a pack n' play. The kitchen came fully stocked and we all really enjoyed feeling like master chefs on the incredible range they had there. For breakfast, the 3 ovens really came in handy. They have 2 under the range and another full size oven in the kitchen island. And while we could have stayed inside and enjoyed every bit of playing games and watching movies by the fire, the outside is really why you travel to Wimberley.
